Nowadays, on all newly built properties, insulation is put in during the building process, but well over 90% of all houses built since 1930 were not built with adequate insulation. Therefore, it’s up to you to make sure you are covered.

Your local InstaFibre installer will send round a surveyor and he will check whether your house is suitable for insulation and if it is, he will measure the outside and then subtract the space taken by windows and doors to calculate the area that needs to be filled.

All the measurements are entered on the customer report and quotation document so the exact volume on insulation can be calculated. You will then be given a quotation and, assuming you accept, the work is usually quite straightforward and causes little disruption.

Current building regulations require a depth of up to 270mm of Insulation that is over 10 and a half inches - around the height of three food tins. If you have anything up to around half this depth, we can arrange to top you up.
