We work with the major Energy Supply Companies to offer a range of grants.
Grants for Householders
Every home owner or tenant in private rented housing is eligible for a grant towards
home insulation.
Free insulation if you are on benefits
You could get your home insulation completely free if you are receiving one of the
following benefits:
- Attendance Allowance
- Council Tax Benefit (this does not include single occupancy reduction)
- Child Tax Credit (household income no more than £14,600)
- Disability Living Allowance
- Disablement pension (which must include constant attendance allowance)
- Housing Benefit
- Income Support
- Income-based Job Seekers Allowance
- State Pension Credit
- War Disablement Pension (which must include mobility supplement or constant attendance
allowance)
- Working Tax Credit (household income no more than £14,600)
Obtaining a grant or free insulation is very straightforward. There are no forms
for you to complete and your InstaFibre approved installer will make the necessary
arrangements
If you are not on benefit it could cost you as little as £269 to insulate a typical
3 bedroom semi. This can only be confirmed after our no charge no commitment survey
is completed.
