FREE 'Saving Energy at Home' Poster Competition for Schools

Scottish and Southern Energy and InstaGroup are working together to promote energy awareness among children and young people. As part of our campaign we are sponsoring a FREE poster competition on the theme of 'Saving Energy at Home'. The competition is aimed at children aged 6-9.

Win £1000 for your school

There will be individual prizes of vouchers worth £250, £150 and £100 for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. In addition the winner's school will receive £1000.

This is an excellent way to get your class thinking about energy and its link to carbon emissions. To help you to plan lessons around this topic, we have some downloadable activity sheets on our website and we are offering a simple carbon savings calculator for each of your pupils, completely free of charge.
